Both the Junior and B teams have made great starts to their league campaigns with a 100% win rate.

The B team began their league campaign with a 2-1 win away to Claremorris B and it was a game that they could have won by more. Colin McDonagh and David Groden were the goalscorers in that game. This was followed on by a thumping 5-0 win against Ballyglass B with Mark MacNally (2), Cian Kennedy (2) and Cillian McGlade netting.

In the Elvery Sports Super League, Westport United have been in lethal form with a 4-1 win against Ballyheane with a brace from Jesper Frisch while Darren Browne and Brandon Scahill completed the scoring. Against Straide and Foxford United, it was four different goalscorers as Westport won 4-1 with goals from Darren Browne, Philip Keegan, Brandon Scahill from the penalty spot and Peter Corcoran. Finally, Ballyhaunis Town were the latest casualties in United’s excellent start to the season as United were 5-0 winners with Darren Browne and Philip Keegan netting two each and Brandon Scahill the other goalscorer.
