Westport United continued their perfect start to the season with a 1-0 win over second placed Ballyglass on Saturday evening. The winning goal arrived after just thirty six seconds as Jesper Frisch scored another crucial goal for Padraig Burns side. Westport had conceded just two goals prior to this game and another strong defensive performance ensured they kept another clean sheet to claim all the points and move three points clear at the top of the table.

Westport United B put in another impressive performance as they recorded a 2-0 win over an unbeaten Killala side at United Park on Sunday afternoon. Colin McDonagh and Luke Dawson were on target in the second half for Michael Gibbons side as they returned to the top of the table where they lie level on points with Killala.
