It was a quiet weekend for our underage sides in the club in terms of action but it was a big day for the U.14 team.

The U.14s took on Manulla in the U.14 Cup final at Solar 21 Park, Milebush and put in an excellent display against a Manulla side that showed lots of talent and ability. Westport's greater ability came through against spirited opposition to record a fantastic 4-1 win to seal their cup success.

Meanwhile, both the U.16 and U.18 matches fell foul of the weather; both matches were at home. The U.16 were due to take on Kiltimagh/Knock United in the league and the U.18s against Renmore in the FAI Youths Cup. As a result of competition rules, the U.18 team now forfeit home advantage and must travel to Galway.
