It was a very busy week for our underage teams with lots of football played and enjoyed by our underage teams.
The U.12 Girls team took on Kilmurray in their opening league game and it was a brilliant encounter with two excellent sides in action playing out a 3-3 draw.
The U.13 team took on Ballina Town and in a thrilling game of football, both sides played out a 2-2 draw. The U.13B team had a great win against Charlestown Athletic, playing some excellent football. The C team and D team both recorded excellent wins against Ballyglass and Ballyglass B respectively.
The U.15s had two huge wins against Castlebar Celtic and Manulla. The lads put in excellent displays against two very spirited teams. Meanwhile, the U.15B team travelled to Straide and Foxford United and put in a brave performance but the hosts were much too strong. The D team had two great games in defeating Partry Athletic 4-3 and just losing to Ballyglass 3-2 and it was two excellent displays from the boys.
The Girls U.15 team travelled to Conn Rangers and gave a very good account of themselves but found their opponents in fine form and Conn Rangers were 4-2 winners.
The U.17s have made a great start to their league with two very impressive 4-1 wins against two very strong Castlebar Celtic and Manulla teams, while the U.17B team was edged out in a thrilling match against Fahy Rovers B with the score 4-3.
