This evening saw Westport United take on Castlebar Celtic in the Elvery Sports Super League and it was a match that was greatly appreciated by supporters of both clubs to tune in for live coverage on the Westport United Facebook page.

However, after the game, the quality of the live stream was highlighted on the comments section and it came to our attention that the stream was freezing and buffering, therefore affecting the quality of the match. As a club, we value your feedback on the performance of our live stream.

While we acknowledge that the live stream is a service provided free of charge on a voluntary basis, we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality service to our supporters and tonight, we failed in our responsibility in providing such a service and we acknowledge and accept that our expectations fell well short of what's acceptable to our audience, many of whom regularly watch our live streaming service and this gives us the opportunity to review our performance and learn the lessons from our failings this evening.
