Westport United is delighted to announce the start of the Hastings Insurance Academy for 2022.

Starting from modest beginnings, the Hastings Insurance Academy has shown considerable growth in recent years and it now caters for over 140 boy and girls from 6-9 years of age, all of whom are coached in a safe and fun environment by volunteer coaches under the direction of Gerry Needham, Academy Head.

The Hastings Insurance Academy offers the first step on the pathway for the stars of tomorrow who are looking to one day play for the red and black of Westport United and beyond.

The Hastings Insurance Academy will this year begin on Monday 25th April until Thursday September 1st inclusive and will operate every Monday and Thursday at United Park from 5pm to 6:30pm respectively for boys and girls from 6-9 years of age (players born 2013-2016) but must have attained their sixth birthday before they can join. The Academy welcomes boys and girls of all abilities and our programme is designed as one of Inclusion.
